Polling Sections Open on
Time

Sofia, October 5 (BTA) - Polling at Sunday's early parliamentary
elections started normally across the country, with all 11,434
sections opening at 6 a.m. sharp, Central Election Commission
(CEC) Spokesperson Kamelia Neikova said. She noted that by
exception, three mobile sections in Silistra, Northeastern
Bulgaria, were allowed to open an hour earlier, at 5 a.m., to
cope with the high number of voters who had expressed a wish to
vote in them.

CEC's member Roumyana Siderova said that polling in Sofia
started normally. There have been no alerts for violations. CEC
reminded people who want to file an alert to state sufficient
information about the suspected violation. LY /ZH/
