Bulgaria, Romania to Cooperate as They  Try to Reach Markets  outside EU

Sofia, February 27 (BTA) - Bulgaria and Romania will cooperate as they try to set foot on markets outside the EU. The details were discussed at a meeting here Monday between Bulgarian Agriculture and Foods Minister Hristo Bozukov and Romanian Ambassador Ion Galea.

The two sides agreed to form working groups of experts who will exchange experience in the area of agriculture. They will also discuss the new common agricultural policy of the EU with the aim of rallying round a common position.

Minister Bozukov told Ambassador Galea that Bulgaria wants to see a fairer distribution of the subsidies in agriculture. Underprivileged regions where the opportunities for agriculture are limited, must be prioritized, the Minister explained.
