A charity campaign to collect and distribute food aid to elderly people living alone is launched in Yambol Region, Denitsa Kozareva, who is part of the volunteer initiative, said on Tuesday. The campaign is organised by the Be Human - Yambol charity organisation for the 23rd time in the region before major Christian holidays.

From April 26 to 28, on the eve of Easter, volunteers will collect food and essential items and deliver them to the homes of the elderly. Donations will be collected until April 21, while new volunteers can sign up until April 12.

Over 3,000 people in need have been supported thus far by the campaigns of Be Human - Yambol.
