site.btaBulgarian Academy of Sciences, National Music Academy Collaborate on Concert Series

A joint initiative by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and the National Music Academy (NMA), titled “Musicorum Via”, will start on April 7 in the Prof. Marin Drinov Hall, the Academy’s press centre said on Friday. Throughout the academic year, students will present their latest and best musical works in evening concerts for the public, the organizers added.

The concerts will take place in the historic BAS hall, which is known for its central location and excellent acoustics. A Yamaha C7 grand piano will be featured on stage for the performances. The concerts will be free and open to all music lovers.

The first concert, titled "Masterpieces of Opera and Operetta Classics," will feature students from the Vocal Faculty of NAM performing arias and ensembles from renowned composers Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Offenbach, Kalman, and Lehar, showcasing the passionate atmosphere and melodies of European classical and romantic music.
