Magdalena Valkova won a gold medal in hoop and a silver medal in ball at the apparatus finals for juniors at the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament Aphrodite Cup in Palaio Faliro, Greece. This brought her a third award from the competition, after she placed second in the all-around Saturday.

In hoop, Valkova performed steadily and scored 25.650 points (difficulty 10.500; artistry 7.850; execution 7.300) to claim the gold. In ball, she received 25.150 points (10.200; 7.850; 7.100), earning the silver medal. The champion in this apparatus was Akmaral Erekesheva (Kazakhstan) with 25.400 points.
