Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh discussed the possibilities for expanding cooperation with President of the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Stephane Delahaye, focusing on the increased interest of French tourists to the diversity of the Bulgarian tourist product.
The Minister said that the expectations of French tourists include more authenticity, experiences related to nature, culture and gastronomy. In this regard, he stressed that the Ministry of Tourism will actively work with the Chamber to promote all tourism products developed by the Ministry, using all available means and communication channels. "Bulgaria has significant potential to establish itself as a wine tourism destination that attracts high-end tourists looking for quality, experience and authenticity. The combination of natural features, traditions and local products is among the strongest points of our country," Tourism Minister Miroslav Borshosh further stressed.
The development of alternative forms of tourism - mountain, cycling, adventure and eco-tourism - also features prominently in the strategic priorities. It is these types of experiences that meet the demands of the modern French tourist and are at the heart of the messages that Bulgaria will send to the French public.
