Bulgarian Youth and Sports Minister Dimitar Iliev conferred here on Tuesday with Japan's Ambassador in Sofia Hisashi Michigami, Iliev's Ministry said in a press release.

The two shared their impressions of a documentary series titled The Road, telling about the champion's title that Bulgaria's rhythmic gymnastics team won in the group all-around at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

The Minister and the Ambassador were adamant about the need of a stronger bilateral relationship in the area of youth. Iliev and Michigami agreed that young people are facing serious challenges at present and hard work is needed to ensure food conditions for their future self-fulfilment.
