site.btaCanada’s Velocity Minerals Sells Bulgarian Gold Assets to Turkiye’s Türkerler in USD 59 Mln Deal

Velocity Minerals is selling all its assets in Bulgaria to the Turkish firm Türkerler, the Canadian gold mining company announced on its website on Wednesday. Velocity has signed a binding letter agreement with Türkerler, headquartered in Ankara.

The agreement stipulates that the Turkish company will take over Velocity Minerals' gold mining project in the Rozino area, along with the Canadian firm's other assets in Bulgaria.

The deal is valued at USD 59 million. It is expected to take effect on or before January 31, 2025, the Vancouver-based company added.
