site.btaCabinet Approves Higher Scholarships for Students Undertaking Student Placement

Higher scholarships will be awarded to students when they undertake a student placement, the Council of Ministers decided by adopting an amendment to the Ordinance on the conditions and procedure for granting scholarships to students, doctoral students and post-graduate students at state universities and scientific organizations.

The amount of the scholarship in case of student placement is calculated as an hourly rate. With the adopted decision it is increased by 80% - from BGN 2.50 to BGN 4.50 per hour.

The amount of costs inherent in the student practice is also increased from BGN 320 to BGN 577, which includes the costs of remuneration for the student's academic tutor and mentor, the student's insurance for the duration of the practice, travel costs, etc.
