The Council of Ministers adopted the 2022 National State and Protection of the Environment Report, which aims to inform the public and state institutions about the condition of the environment and any potential threats to it. The report covers environmental indicators and methodologies applied in the assessment reports of the European Environment Agency. The aim is to articulate the issues related to the interaction between society and the environment and to present information on the environment in Bulgaria that is comparable to assessments at the European level.
