 Bulgaria's top tennis player Grigor Dimitrov qualified for the third round of Australian Open after defeating Thanasi Kokkinakis in four sets (6:3, 6:2, 4:6, 6:4). 
 
This is his seventh win in a row after previously claiming the title at Brisbane International. 

In the third round Dimitrov will face Nuno Borges, who surprisingly eliminated world number 24 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. 

The 26-year old Portuguese tennis player has reached for the first time the third round of a Grand Slam tournament.
