According to a ruling by the Sofia City Court, acting Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) President Stefka Kostadinova cancelled her order from March 19 and instructed the unsealing of the BOC premises located at 4 Angel Kanchev Street in Sofia. Thus, BOC can resume its activities, the organization said on Tuesday. On March 19, employees of the Ministry of Interior sealed the BOC offices at Kostadinova's request, who on the same day lost the BOC President elections to Vesela Lecheva.

The two court rulings from Monday were issued following complaints filed by BOC Executive Bureau members Zhivko Vangelov and Plamen Krastev against the decisions of the BOC General Assembly on March 19. The rulings blocked the registration of the newly elected President Lecheva in the Commercial Register.

Shortly after the end of the General Assembly on March 19, Kostadinova ordered the sealing of BOC’s financial department and registry office. She said she was taking security measures to prevent the leakage of documents.

Following these events, Kostadinova remains the acting BOC President until the final court ruling on the complaints against the decisions of the General Assembly, the third of which, filed by BOC General Secretary Belcho Goranov, is being reviewed on Tuesday by a third panel of the Sofia City Court, chaired by Vesela Zhivkova-Ofitserska.
