site.btaParliament to Discuss 2025 State Budget Bill

Parliament will discuss at first reading the Public Social Insurance Budget Bill, the National Health Insurance Fund Budget Bill and the State Budget Bill for 2025, MPs decided at the start of the plenary session with the adoption of the National Assembly's agenda for this week.

It is the first Wednesday of the week and parliamentary groups suggest must have items on the agenda of the National Assembly. 

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) - New Beginning has proposed to include in the programme a draft decision on the request of the Acting Prosecutor General to authorize the prosecution of MP Jeyhan Ibryamov.

At the proposal of the Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh), Parliament will consider a draft decision to oblige the Council of Ministers to take the necessary action to renegotiate the current concession contracts for gold, precious and rare metals mining, in order to significantly increase concession payments and increase control, and failing that, to take action to terminate them. The draft decision is the first item on the agenda.

Next on the agenda is the first reading of amendments to the Act on Protection of Persons Submitting Alerts or Publicly Disclosing Information about Violations, proposed by Continue Change - Democratic Bulgaria.

At the proposal of Vazrazhdane MPs will consider at first reading a bill on bankruptcy of individuals, submitted by Kostadin Kostadinov and MPs.
