site.btaInnovation Ministry Promotes Small Business Grants in Key Academic and Business Hubs


Representatives from the Ministry of Innovation and Growth introduced the Small Innovative Grants for Small and Medium Enterprises procedure to business and academic communities across nine university cities, as part of the Research, Innovation, and Digitalization for Intelligent Transformation programme, the ministry announced in a press release on Tuesday.
With a budget of BGN 25 million, the initiative provides micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria with financial support, offering access to nearly 1,000 specialized services tailored to their needs.
The information days attracted strong interest in Sofia, Varna, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Pleven, Gabrovo, Plovdiv, and Blagoevgrad. Experts from the European Funds for Competitiveness General Directorate at the ministry provided detailed explanations on application procedures, funding opportunities, eligible expenses, and other key aspects of the programme.
