State-owned natural gas distributor Bulgargaz said in its final monthly proposal that the price at which it sells natural gas to end-suppliers and to heat utility companies in July 2024 should be BGN 58.10/MWh (exclusive of excise duty and VAT), the company's press office said on Monday.

The proposed price is 2.43% lower than the June level. It is also lower by EUR 4.70/MWh compared with the current month-ahead TTF price in the European Union, Bulgargaz said.

The proposal is to be considered by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, which is expected to set the July gas price later on Monday.
