In October 2023 compared with October 2022, production in construction in Bulgaria decreased by 1%, a higher rate than that of the EU as a whole, where production in construction went down by 0.4%, according to Eurostat data released on Wednesday.

In October 2023, production in construction in Bulgaria increased by 0.2% on a monthly basis. In the EU, seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector decreased by 0.6% in October compared to September, Eurostat's first estimates show.
