site.btaBulgaria Launches Bulgarian-language Travel App
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mariya Gabriel presented Tuesday the mobile app Patuvaj informirano [Travel Informed]. Developed by the Situation Centre with the Interior Ministry on support from the EEA and Norway Grants, it is Europe's first travel app with a chatbot, said the Minister.
"We want to make sure all Bulgarian citizens have timely and precise information about the country they travel to, what they need to know and what information they are required to have," Gabriel said.
The application provides information about the documents that a traveler is required to have, the risk level for the destination country, the health-related requirements and the contacts of Bulgarian diplomatic missions. The app has an SOS button for emergencies.
