site.btaFinance Minister Vassilev, EU Commissioner McGuinness to Visit Kapitan Andreevo Border Checkpoint

Finance Minister Assen Vassilev and European Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union Mareid McGuinness will hold a meeting on Tuesday at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing point, the Finance Ministry said.

Media statements are scheduled after the meeting. The meeting point for journalists is at the entrance to the checkpoint at 10:30.

McGuinness has been on a two-day working visit to Bulgaria since Monday, when she met with Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Vassilev. The programme of her working visit also included meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel, Energy Minister Rumen Radev, and MPs from the Parliamentary Committees on Budget and Finance and on the European Union, Schengen and the Euro Area.
