The Economy Ministry will continue to support Bulgarian enterprises through various measures,

Thanks to them the companies will be able to introduce digital technologies in the manufacturing process, improve resource efficiency and environmental indicators as well as taking up the production and distribution of green products, said Deputy Economy Minister Nikolai Pavlov during a conference on the topic of good practices and companies’ prosperity, organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Confindustria Bulgaria, the Ministry said. 

Attending the forum were Italian Ambassador Guiseppina Zarra, Italian Commerce Chamber in Bulgaria President Alessandro Geretto, Confindustria Bulgaria CEO Roberto Santorelli and Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Deputy Chairman Krasimir Dachev.

During the conference Pavlov recalled the public support targeted at the business for overcoming the effects of the COVID pandemics. A number of measures were taken, including providing grants to small and medium-sized enterprises through financial instruments,” said Pavlov.

He specified that some 40,000 enterprises received direct aid and over 3,500 – through financial instruments.

Deputy Minister Pavlov said that measures were taken to rein in inflation. "I believe that the implementation of all these measures will improve the prosperity of individuals and companies,” he said.
