The implementation of the CAP (common agricultural policy) Strategic Plan for Agricultural and Rural Development will lead to a more sustainable and competitive wine-growing sector, caretaker Agriculture Minister Yavor Gechev told the participants of a Permanent Working Group, which discussed the interventions planned for the sector for investments, restructuring and conversion of vineyards, the promotion of Bulgarian wine on international markets and the promotion of wine tourism, the Agriculture Ministry said Wednesday.
