Landscapes and still lifes by Tigran Avetyan (Armenia) and Baiaman Omurkulov (Kyrgyzstan) will be displayed at the Contrast Gallery in Sofia. The exhibition will open on March 6, the organizers say.
Using thick layers of paint, the artists create texture, colour and depth impossible to copy digitally, according to the organizers.
Tigran Avetyan was born in 1988 in the picturesque Armenian village of Akori. The artist lives and works in Yerevan. His art is inspired by the process of painting itself - each painting is an explosion of color, relief and light. His landscapes and still lifes carry the warmth and power of hand craftsmanship, notes BuyArt.BG.
Baiaman Omurkulov was born in 2000 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. He developed his own style of expressive painting, full of energy and powerful color.
Avetyan and Omurkulov have already sold hundreds of works in Europe, Russia and Bulgaria, organizers note.
