site.btaCentral Bank Releases Gold Commemorative Coins Themed "St. Virgin Mary - Golden Apple" from January 2

From January 2, 2025, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) will put into circulation gold commemorative coins themed "St. Mary - Golden Apple" with denominations of BGN 10, BGN 20, BGN 50 and BGN 100, which have no set mintage, the central bank said on its website Tuesday. 

The prices of the coins at the time of their release into circulation are: BGN 1,789 for the ten-lev coin; BGN 3,311 for the twenty-lev coin; BGN 4,872 for the fifty-lev coin; BGN 6,456 for the hundred-lev coin.

The coins will be sold in the Bulgarian National Bank and in the branches of Investbank AD, First Investment Bank AD, Texim Bank AD, Tokuda Bank AD and Central Cooperative Bank.

Coins shall not be sold to persons under 18 years of age.
