Town of Kyustendil Commemorates Local Rescuers of Bulgarian Jews

The memory of the five Kyustendil residents [Assen Souichmesov, Vladimir Kurtev, Dimitar Peshev, Ivan Momchilov and Petar Michalev], who rescued Bulgarian Jews from Nazi death camps during WWII, was commemorated here in front of the Monument to Dimitar Peshev here on Thursday.
