site.btaDeputy PM Donchev to Head National Council for Tripartite Cooperation

The Government has appointed new representatives of the Council of Ministers to the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation, the Government Information Service reported Wednesday.

The National Council for Tripartite Cooperation is headed by a Deputy Prime Minister. Tomislav Donchev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth, and Borislav Gutsanov, Minister of Labour and Social Policy, have been appointed as representatives in the tripartite council.

Under the Labour Code, the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation is composed of two representatives each of the Council of Ministers, employer organisations, and trade union confederations.

By decision of the cabinet, Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov is appointed Chairman of the Council for Administrative Reform (CAR), an advisory body to the Council of Ministers in coordinating government policy in the field of public administration that is chaired by a Deputy Prime Minister. The CAR's functions are in the areas of structuring and optimising the administration, human resources management, the civil service, reducing the administrative burden, and administrative services. 

Zafirov will also chair the National Council for Cooperation on Ethnic and Integration Issues, the National Council for Prevention and Protection from Domestic Violence, the Central Commission for Combating Juvenile Delinquency, and the National Commission for Combating Human Trafficking. 

By another cabinet decision, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadzhov is appointed Chairman of the National Council for Civil Society Development. Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov will head the European Green Deal Advisory Council.
