site.btaBulgaria to Host Volleyball Men’s U16 Euro Qualification
For the second time in 2025 the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation will host a qualification for the European Championships. After Bulgaria hosted the first women's under-16 zonal qualification in January, it will welcome the second men's under-16 screening in April.
The tournament will be held at the Hristo Botev Hall from April 25 to 27, the headquarters said.
The selection, led by Svetozar Ivanov, has been placed in Group A, where it will face the teams of Finland, Latvia and Cyprus. The European Volleyball Confederation's regulations include an "everyone vs. everyone" tournament. The top two finishers in each stream and the top two third-place finishers will qualify for the championships in Yerevan (July 23 - August 3).
The distribution in the remaining groups:
Group B: Spain (host), Austria, Estonia, Azerbaijan
Group C: France (host), Serbia, Ukraine, Slovakia
Group D: Georgia (host), Slovenia, Romania, Hungary
Group F: Greece (host), Italy, Israel, Croatia.
