An exhibition of paintings by Angelika Radeva will be unveiled at Sofia's Arosita Gallery on February 4, the organizers said on Thursday. The collection will immerse visitors in the spirit of Baroque: not as aesthetics and reproduction but as a feeling, idea, and reflex.
"Feels like Baroque" studies the connection between senses, purity of form, and the sublimity of the experience, conveyed through the symbolism of the material and the spatial atmosphere, the team said.
The exhibition will be on until February 18.
Angelika Radeva studied painting under Prof. Andrey Daniel at the National Academy of Art in Sofia. She continued her studies at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. She has had individual exhibitions since 2009. In 2011, she won the London's Top Contemporary Fine Art Students competition and exhibited at London's 3 Bedfordbury Gallery.
