Bulgaria's National Assembly is expected to elect the leaders and members of parliamentary committees on Wednesday, according to the agenda published on Parliament’s website.

Draft decisions have been submitted regarding the election of the leadership and composition of the Budget and Finance Committee, the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs, the Culture and Media Committee, the Committee on e-Government and Information Technology, the Environment and Water Committee, the Healthcare Committee, the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forestry, the Committee on Direct Participation of Citizens and Interaction with Civil Society, the Foreign Policy Committee, the Committee on Transport and Communications, the Committee on Human Rights and Religious Affairs, the Committee on Economic Policy and Innovation Committee, the Committee on Demographic Policy, Children and the Family, the Committee on Policies for Bulgarians Abroad, the Defence Committee, Committee on European Affairs and Oversight of the European Funds, the Labour and Social Policy Committee, the Energy Committee, the Regional Policy Committee, the Committee on Youth and Sports Matters, the Committee on Education and Science, the Committee on Prevention and Counteraction of Corruption, the Committee on Tourism, the Committee on Internal Security and Public Order and the Committee for Control of the Security Services.
