The mountains offer good hiking conditions on Wednesday, the Bulgarian Red Cross Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) told BTA.

The weather is cloudy in many areas, with temperatures ranging from minus 2C to 0C.

The MRS advised caution on trails in the higher parts of the mountains, as there are snowdrifts in some places, the MRS added.

The snow cover reaches up to 160 cm.

There will be significant cloud cover and light snow in some areas, primarily before noon, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. Clouds will begin to decrease in the afternoon. Moderate to strong northwesterly wind. Highs: around 4C at 1,200 m, around minus 2C at 2,000.
