Passing the state budget is not just the MPs' responsibility but also their constitutional duty, President Rumen Radev told reporters here on Sunday. Radev is in Silistra to take part in forum on education, culture and sport.
The head of State said: "The way out of the political crisis is very clear. Our MPs must realize their responsibility to constitute the National Assembly. It must start working. A Chair must be elected to unblock the whole process of the procedure of forming a government. Today we are in the most remote municipality, and [the people here] are waiting for a budget. I appeal to the MPs to show reason, to engage in a dialogue and to fulfil their responsibility to the people, not to their parties."
