site.btaMayors, Municipal Councillors Can Lead Talks on Bulgaria's Future, Daniel Panov Says

Addressing the opening of the annual meeting of local authorities in the seaside resort of Albena on Sunday, National Association of the Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB) Chair and Veliko Tarnovo Mayor from GERB Daniel Panov said that local authorities have come together once again to look for solutions. The forum is organized by NAMRB.

According to Panov, NAMRB has shown that when mayors and municipal councillors are united, this not only ensures the country’s stability, but they can also lead the talks about Bulgaria's future.

In Panov's words, while waiting for the next regular government, the municipalities in Bulgaria remain stable. "We work every day for every Bulgarian citizen, we do not lose our energy, our optimism, we are ready to share with the political parties our experience that we have in the national association, regardless of the political representation," Panov added.

According to him, when there is unity for a common cause, solutions can always be found.
