Fukushiro Nukaga, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, will pay an official visit to Bulgaria on September 8 and 9. The visit is at the invitation of Bulgarian National Assembly Chair Raya Nazaryan.  

The official visit will begin with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier on September 9 at 10 am. Afterwards, the Speakers of the Parliaments of Bulgaria and Japan will have a one-on-one meeting in the National Assembly. Fukushiro Nukaga is expected to sign the official guestbook of the Bulgarian Parliament. 

At 11.20 am, Nazaryan and Nukaga will make statements to the media.  

Within the framework of his visit to Bulgaria, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, Fukushiro Nukaga, will hold talks with President Rumen Radev and Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.  

On the first day of the visit, the Speaker of the Japanese House of Representatives will visit Plovdiv. In Sofia, Nukaga is scheduled to visit the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the National History Museum and St. Sophia Basilica.
