Born in Burgas, October 8, 1969. Graduated in English Studies from the St Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia. Specialized at the Project Management Institute in Karlsborg, Sweden. Post-graduate qualifications in corporate accountancy, control and analysis from the Svishtov Academy of Economics, and EU-financed project preparation, development and management at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. Between 2007 and 2013 she served as Manager at the European Information Centre in Burgas. Deputy Minister of Environment and Water in the government of Boyko Borissov in 2012 and then Minister of Environment and Water in the government of Boyko Borissov in 2014 - 2017.
