Valentin Mundrov is Deputy Minister of Electronic Governance, appointed by outgoing Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov on June 15, 2023. An IT professional with over 20 years of technical experience in the development, incorporation, and maintenance of complex information systems. An expert in strategic planning, building and managing teams, projects, and programmes.

Holds a Master's degree in industrial engineering from Technical University - Sofia and a degree in electronic business and e-governance from the St Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia. Holds various certificates in the IT field. Has worked as an expert at the National Customs Agency and the Health Ministry. Has been ad IT consultant at the National Health Insurance Fund. From 2013 to 2022, he headed the Software Integration Directorate at Information Services AD.
