site.btaMerchant Shipping Agreement between Bulgaria and Egypt Endorsed

Meeting here on Wednesday, the Cabinet endorsed a new Agreement on Merchant Shipping between Bulgaria and Egypt, the Government Information Service reported. The Agreement will be signed by Transport and Communications Minister Georgi Gvozdeykov and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel later this month. 

The new intergovernmental instrument supersedes an Agreement that has been in force since 1969. It will contribute to an increase of maritime transport and will deepen cooperation between the two countries, the press release said.
