Traffic through the Malko Tarnovo border crossing on the Bulgarian-Turkish border is carried out in one lane due to reconstruction works, according to the Border Police. Traffic is normal at all checkpoints on the borders with Turkiye, the Republic of North Macedonia, and Greece. 

The Border Police recalled that construction work is underway on the Greek side of the Rudozem - Xanthi checkpoint due to increased travel. Greek authorities have placed signs indicating that the area is a construction site, restricting access to outsiders. Only passenger cars and minibuses of up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad border checkpoints.

A temporary traffic organization has been introduced on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge border checkpoint with Romania near Ruse due to ongoing repairs.
