Bulgaria shares the pain of the people of the Republic of North Macedonia over the fire in Kocani, which left many dead and injured, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said on X on Sunday.

In a conversation with North Macedonia's President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, the Bulgarian head of State expressed his condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. "I am in contact with Prime Minister [Rosen] Zhelyazkov, and Bulgaria is ready to provide medical assistance," Radev said. 

A total of 51 people have died in the nightclub fire in North Macedonia and more than 100 have been injured, according to Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski.
