The Tourism Department of Stara Zagora Municipality is participating in the Ministry of Tourism's booth at the Romanian Tourism Fair, taking place from Thursday to Sunday in Bucharest, the municipal press service announced on Thursday.
This marks another consecutive year of Stara Zagora Municipality’s participation in the event.
In addition to showcasing their city, the Stara Zagora team will work on establishing connections and collaborations with representatives from over 40 municipalities, tour operators, and businesses to mutually promote Bulgaria as an attractive destination, the press service added.
The main goal is to impress visitors so that next time, Bulgaria is not just a transit point but a real stop. Visitors should immerse themselves, explore, continue their journey, and return to share that in the centre of the universe, there is much to see, do, and feel, the press service said.
The exhibition is held at Romexpo, Bucharest. BTA previously reported that Lovech Municipality will also participate in the tourism fair.
Earlier this month, Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh met with Romanian Ambassador to Bulgaria Brandusa Predescu. The two discussed key issues of mutual interest in tourism, economic cooperation, and transport connectivity.
