Traffic is normal at all border crossing points with Romania, Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia and Turkiye on Monday morning, Border Police said.

Due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, traffic is temporarily narrowed to one lane, regulated by traffic lights. In addition to Ruse, drivers in the region can also head to Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari (no trucks allowed via the last two).

On August 26, the implementation of activities under a contract related to the construction of the EU Entry/Exit System started at Gyueshevo. The border control booths of the passing trucks will be dismantled and replaced with new ones. Temporarily, the traffic of passing trucks will be rerouted through car lanes, and crossing may take longer.
