During a meeting between Bulgaria's caretaker Minister of Agriculture and Food Georgi Tahov and Turkiye's Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli in Ankara, it transpired that Bulgarian agricultural exports to the Turkish market have grown by 46.4% year-on-year, Tahov's Ministry reported on Friday.
The two ministers discussed the deepening of bilateral relations in the field of agriculture and the cooperation between the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency and the Turkish veterinary authorities. Tahov pointed out that Bulgaria expects the approval procedures for the export of large ruminants for breeding and poultry meat to Turkiye to be accelerated.
