There is heavy traffic at some of Bulgaria's border control checkpoints with Serbia, Romania, Greece, and Turkiye, Border Police said on their website on Friday.

Drivers of passenger cars and trucks should expect slower crossing at all checkpoints with Romania, the Kalotina checkpoint with Serbia, and at the Kulata and Makaza checkpoints with Greece. There is heavy traffic of passenger cars at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo checkpoints with Turkiye.

Only cars and minibuses may pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad, the Interior Ministry recalls.

Traffic is normal at all other border checkpoints with North Macedonia.
