March 25 (BTA) - Vice President Iliana Iotova Monday met here with representatives of China's National Supervisory Commission, the main function of which is to fight corruption, the President's Press Secretariat reported.

From 2012 to present, there have been 500 proven cases of high-level corruption in the People's Republic of China. The two sides shared the opinion that the fight against corruption would be unsuccessful without the active participation of citizens. 

The participants in the meeting underscored the traditionally good bilateral relations between their countries. This year marks the 70th anniversary of Bulgarian-Chinese diplomatic relations.
