Beijing/Sofia, April 28 (BTA) - Bulgarian legendary shooter and President of the Bulgarian Shooting Union, Maria Grozdeva, won World Cup gold in the 25 m pistol final at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol in Beijing, China on April 28.

She took the medal after scoring 36 hits out of a maximum of 50.

The gold medal secured her an Olympic berth for Tokyo 2020.

Veronika Major of Hungary won silver and Greece's Anna Korakaki won bronze in Grozdeva's event.

Another Bulgarian shooter in the World Cup in Beijing, Antoaneta Boneva, placed 18th and Miroslava Mincheva 44th. LN/
