site.btaBulgaria Has Fourth Highest GDP Increase in EU in Q4 of 2024
Bulgaria's seasonally adjusted gross domestic product increased by 0.8% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the previous one, show Eurostat data published on Friday. The country marked the fourth highest increase after Portugal (1.5%), Poland (1.3%) and Lithuania (0.9%). Spain and Romania also reported a 0.8% rise.
The GDP increased by 0.2% in the European Union (EU) and by 0.1% in the euro area. In the third quarter of 2024, GDP had grown by 0.4% in both areas.
Compared with the same quarter of the previous year, seasonally adjusted GDP increased by 0.9% in the euro area and by 1.1% in the EU.
