Parliament is scheduled to hear caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and three ministers from his Cabinet, shows the legislature's agenda for Thursday, published on its website.
The first item on Thursday's agenda provides for a hearing of caretaker Agriculture and Food Minister Georgi Tahov and the head of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency Svetlozar Patarinsky on the problems surrounding the health status of sheep flocks in Pazardzhik region (southern Bulgaria). The hearing is at the request of Andrey Tchorbanov and a group of MPs from There Is Such a People.
Parliament is then due to hear caretaker Health Minister Galya Kondeva about the National Health Insurance Fund's budget deficit for 2024. The motion for the hearing was submitted by Vasil Pandov and a group of MPs from Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria.
The agenda also includes a hearing of caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova and caretaker Minister of Health Galya Kondeva on a decree adopted by the Council of Ministers allocating additional funds for farmers by redirecting BGN 2 million from cost savings for assisted reproduction activities. Petar Petrov and Kliment Shopov from Vazrazhdane are the sponsors of the request for a hearing.
