At a scientific congress in Bulgaria which gathered teachers from four Balkan universities, caretaker Minister of Education and Science Prof. Galin Tsokov said that a national programme on the development of scientific research and innovations in Bulgarian preschool and school education is being developed and will involve scientists from the attending universities. The congress was dedicated to the research and educational perspectives in the conditions of digital transformation, said the press centre of the line ministry.
Minister Tsokov stressed that the purpose of the new programme of the Ministry of Education and Culture is to encourage scientific research with the participation of university scientists to be applied in the education system. "We need to have a similar tool to encourage research and innovation in the classroom and help change education in line with the challenges of the future," Minister Tsokov explained.
The Faculty of Pedagogy at Thrace University in Stara Zagora hosted its partners from the Faculty of Teacher Education in the University of Zagreb, Croatia, the Faculty Pedagogy of Sofia University and of Skopje University (North Macedonia) and the Faculty of Education of Thrace University in Edirne (Turkiye).
