Bulgarian Servicemen Conduct Diving Training at 1,000 m, 1C Water Temperature

Bulgarian servicemen are conducting diving training in high mountain conditions in the Iskar Dam, the Defence Ministry said here on Thursday. At 1,000 metres altitude and 1C water temperature, the divers' attention is concentrated on reconnaissance, setting up and overcoming water enclosures. 

The personnel started the training with scuba diving and practiced organization of the diving descents in different conditions and rules of execution.

Participating in the joint diving training are the 2nd Tundzhan Mechanized Brigade and the 55th Engineer Regiment. The training will last until October 11.
