Traffic is heavy for trucks at the border control check points with Romania through Nikopol and Kardam, the General Directorate Border Police reported on their website early Saturday.

Traffic for trucks is also heavy on the border with Serbia, at the Kalotina checkpoint.

Due to repair works of the Giurgiu-Ruse bridge over the Danube on the Bulgarian side, traffic is controlled by traffic lights to let vehicles through in stages.
Traffic at the border crossings with Greece, Turkiye and the Republic of North Macedonia is normal.
