site.btaPetkova Qualifies for 50m Finals, Sets National Record at European Short Course Swimming Championships

Diana Petkova qualified for the finals of the women's 50m breaststroke at the 2023 European Short Course Swimming Championships in Otopeni. In the semi-finals on Saturday, the 23-year-old Bulgarian athlete finished eight in 30:04 seconds, which is a new national record. Petkova knocked 0.40 seconds off her previous - and national - best from Saturday's morning sessions.

This is Petkova's second qualification for finals in Otopeni, after the 100m mixed finals where she finished sixth.
