site.btaCabinet Approves Programme for Cooperation Between Bulgarian, Portuguese Governments

The Council of Ministers approved Wednesday a programme for cooperation between the Government of Bulgaria and the Government of Portugal in the fields of language, education, higher education, science, culture, sport, youth and public awareness.

The new programme framework includes opportunities for concrete initiatives to promote Bulgarian and Portuguese language and culture, exchange of scholarships, information and documentation, as well as closer cooperation in higher education in priority scientific areas. The programme will deepen exchanges in the field of youth and sport between the two countries and will promote the use of a e-twinning platform between Bulgarian and Portuguese schools, with a view to developing partnership programmes and projects for teachers and students.

The programme takes into account the positive development of the dialogue between Bulgaria and Portugal and the mutual interest of their institutions to further deepen and promote bilateral relations in the fields of language, education, science, culture sport, youth and public awareness.
