The National Assembly chair should immediately announce the members and leaders of the parliamentary groups and President Radev should hand the mandates for forming a government, MRF-New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski told the media in Parliament on Wednesday.
According to him, the first mandate was sabotaged by Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), not GERB. According to him, "these people" are sabotaging everything, possessed by their own world.
Peevski commented that if the Constitutional Court rules that there were violations in the parliamentary elections, then the Central Election Commission was to blame with its organization. He called on the President to elect a new composition of the commission, recalling his words that the CEC is a compromised body, with ties to one particular party.
Asked when he would provide evidence of the "theft" and "cash" he has talked about, Peevski urged journalists to see what public procurement tenders have been announced in the past three years.
It transpired on Tuesday that the eight political parties in the 51st National Assembly have declared the composition of their parliamentary groups in the records office of Parliament.
Under the rules of organization of the National Assembly, each parliamentary group should by the end of the first sitting, submit to the President of the National Assembly a decision on its formation, the name of the group and a list of the leadership and members signed by all its MPs. The President of the National Assembly should announce the parliamentary groups and their leadership at the same sitting.
